The Foot Mobile

We are experienced and knowledgeable foot care Registered Nurses.  We hope to help in the prevention of falls and wounds and to assist the elderly in maintaining mobility and their highest level of function whether in their home or facility.  We refer and can make suggestions and recommendations as needed.

We are certified foot and nail care nurses and experienced serving the elderly, those with foot deformities, mobility issues, Parkinson's, diabetes, and other conditions or complications.  We provide services in the home or facility and adhere to the highest standards of infection prevention and control.  We use separate sterilized instruments or single-use disposable instruments for each client.

We provide continuing education and training to licensed nurses in one-on-one mentorship, in groups as well as in the facility.  Our premiere course is our Foundations Program in Foot and Nail Nursing for licensed nurses.  We also mentor nurses requiring practicum hours for continued skill development and continuing education, or for potential certification as foot care nurses.

We are holistic nurses interested in the health of the whole body.  Healing touch is a modality found useful in many health and healing circumstances, especially in the areas of reducing pain, reducing anxiety, and reducing some of the untoward effects of chemotherapy.  In this era of sheltering in, we can also provide distance healing touch techniques when requested.
